This antique Armenian carpet is hand knotted in Armenia's LORI province, using 100% vegetable-dyed wool. The carpet is a one-of-a-kind piece. It is well preserved and dates back to 1934 as inscribed on the carpet. The date is accompanied with the following Armenian letters (Թ.Տ.Ա.). The carpet was taken from the dowry of Dikranouhi Atamyan, a native dweller of LORI province.
